Case Study: In house training, CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management
Who: NHS North Tees had five staff working in the organisational development team that they wanted training to CIPD standard. After discussions, BePro advised that the level 5 Diploma in HR Management was most useful given their role, previous experience and skillset.
Method of study: BePro delivered training in house at North Tees Hospital in a training room. Fortnightly sessions were arranged during twilight hours to suit the learners’ work schedules.
For some modules, BePro held group sessions, inviting candidates from other classes so learners could have in depth discussions on the topics and how they affect various workplaces. The class had some really lively discussion and the learners found this extremely useful.
Achievements: The whole team is now on track to complete their qualification, achieving their Level 5 Diploma. In addition to knowing how to deal with HR issues within the NHS, they got great insight into how HR affects workforce’s in other sectors.
Workforce progression: The workforce is now equipped to deal with current and future HR challenges. Their CIPD membership gives them resources to access on a huge range of HR topics.
