learning and development strategy.

Gain relevant expertise to work in roles including Head of L&D, Learning Design Lead, Head of Organisational Development or Head of Employee Experience. Learn how to design your organisation for optimum success, develop your leaders and managers – and create a learning culture to accelerate people’s careers. We will show you how to:

• Build on your existing people management experience
• Gain specialist people management skills in strategic learning and development, organisational design and development and designing learning to improve performance
• Strengthen your autonomy and judgement so that you can lead and direct your organisation’s learning and development strategy

You can select the best method for you to study the Advanced Diploma, with the option of live online workshops or on demand self study. Specialist tutors qualified already to level 7 with extensive industry experience and chartered membership of the CIPD will guide you through the units, with expert guest tutors still working in industry in senior people roles, from some of the countries largest organisations.

You will have access to our online learning platform BUD, integrated with interactive module builder Flow, where you will be able to access your course 24/7. A whole host of interactive lessons, activities and resources will help you to embed your learning and write the assignments needed to evidence your knowledge.

You will have unlimited support from your tutor, including out of hours if required, and we offer flexible workshop times including evenings and weekends. We have rolling start dates; please get in touch for the next one. On demand you can start at any time.

The cost of the Advanced Diploma is £4500+VAT. If you are self funding this can be paid with interest free monthly direct debit payments spread over the length of the course. There are no credit checks, however access to the course will be revoked if payments are not adhered too.

If you are employed in a senior L&D role or about to be, you may be able to complete this qualification as part of the Senior People Professional apprenticeship for no cost to yourself and only £950 payable by your employer.

To study the Advanced Diploma in Strategic Learning and you will complete 4 core units, 3 specialist units and a choice of 1 optional unit.

All units will be assessed with written assignments; there are no examinations in this qualification.

CIPD Advanced Diploma in Strategic Learning and Development

This qualification replaces the Advanced Diploma in L&D and is now available. This qualification is perfect for you if you want to develop your personal effectiveness and business acumen. You’ll learn how to design and manage your own strategy, enhance people management skills – and learn how best to lead in an L&D focused role.
