BePro have a duty to ensure the safety of all individuals, regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
Every individual has a right to equal protection from harm.
Setting up and following good safeguarding policies and procedures means individuals are safe from adults and other children who might pose a risk.
This includes voluntary and community organisations, faith groups, private sector providers, as well as schools, hospitals and sports clubs.
BePro has taken action to promote safeguarding and the welfare of individuals to protect them from harm.

Recognise the signs that could indicate a safeguarding issue including abuse and mental health issues.

Respond sensitively and listen. Don't question or investigate.

Record what you have been told accurately and factually using the language used by the person disclosing.

Report immediately to your safeguarding lead. They will signpost/refer to external services.
