Duration – This apprenticeship will typically take 14 months to complete not including end point assessment
Level – Level 5
Qualifications – Apprentices can choose to study the CMI Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring. Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this prior to the end-point assessment.
There are no formal entry requirements; this will be decided by each employer although a level 3 qualification would be beneficial.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship you must not be enrolled on any funded training courses or hold a similar qualification already at the same level.
Employers who do not pay the apprenticeship levy may be entitled to 100% funding if the apprentice is 16-18. Alternatively employers are required to contribute 5% which can be split over a number of months.

Undertaking Management Coaching in the Workplace
Reviewing own ability as a Management Coach
Assessment will take place using a variety of methods such as work-place observations, written assignments, presentations and feedback from managers and peers.
How is it delivered?
Apprentices will be assigned a development coach who will guide them through the course using a mixture of tutorials, workshops, online materials and self-study.
Workshops will take place online with other apprentices from different organisations to give apprentices the opportunity to share best practice and knowledge. Closed cohorts can also be delivered in person if required.
This apprenticeship will involve several hours of coaching practice observations therefore apprentices need to be in this direct coaching role.

Coaching Professional Apprenticeship
A coach can be found in private, public and third sector national and multinational organisations and employers. Coaches will work with a wide range of individuals and teams across the organisation, to empower and engage with them to enhance their professional performance.
